Named after Roberto Mancini, a well-known Italian Football Manager and legendary former player. After Richard Mille consulted with Roberto, the 11-01 was designed to display a unique function, the exact number of minutes that remain during stoppage time during a match. An important countdown display, not visible in the stadium that plays a key role in planning team strategy.
Also, the watch houses a flyback chronograph that can be started and stopped with the push of a button (located between 4 and 5 o’clock) without first having to stop the mechanism. The design and execution of the watch demonstrate a complete conceptual approach to the movement where the case alone takes 202 separate machining operations.
The red gold version houses the caliber RMAC1 Automatic movement and displays hour, minutes, seconds, flyback chronograph, central minute counter, 12-Hour Totalizer, Annual Calendar, and Adjustable Rotor Geometry.
