WHY THIS WATCH IS IMPORTANT

A rare white gold example of an iconic Nautilus, this particular reference is from 1978. Designed by Gerald Genta, the Nautilus is one of the first luxury sports watches brought to market, an enduring icon of contemporary 70s design. A real rarity, only a handful (13 we believe) examples of this watch have ever been offered to the public. Most likely unpolished and in pristine condition, this Ref. 3700 has the most beautiful patina we've come across. The bracelet has minimal wear and is super tight. With all original parts and accompanied by a Patek Philippe Archive extract papers.
